Just Last Night I Started Having A Sore Throat After

Just last night I started having a sore throat after having dirreah. Today my throat hurts really bad, my left ear is clogged up. I tried oatmeal, orange juice and hot tea which only made me cough it up. I have to work tomorrow from 2:30 pm to 8 pm and I don't feel like going .
What do I do?
