Just Returned From The Doctor -- I Am 55 And

Just returned from the doctor -- I am 55 and was diagnosed with a 1.5 cm benign uteran fibroid awhile back. This time around the cervical exam showed a thickening of the endometrium of 10 mm and 2 more fibroids both approx. 2.1 cm. It's been suggested that a complete hysterectomy may be necessary.
What is your medical opinion please?
