Just Took 5 X 20mg Of Expired Doxycycline Hcl. I

Just took 5 x 20mg of expired doxycycline hcl. I found in my medicine cabinet. Had tick bite looked at this morning and was given 200mg doxycycline chair side at appt. within 20 minutes I threw up. Called clinic back to tell them and nurse practitioner said no worries because she felt it was in my system. Spoke with sister who is nurse anesthetist and she felt it could not be effectively in my system.
