Just Would Like To Know What A Light Squishy Substance

Just would like to know what a light squishy substance is that seems to have formed between my tonsil and adnoid? I was able to rid the area of it with a blunt tooth pick and rinse the area with mouthwash and water. (It has a very fowl scent- like bad breath.) Seems to feel much better after clearing the area of it (less pressure on post nasal drainage- or area seems less inflamed)?
