Last Aug 2015 I Went Blackberry Picking At A School

Last Aug 2015 I went blackberry picking at a school field nearby. I went several days to get enough to make jelly. I didn't wear gloves nor bring tools to pull the high branches down to make them easier to pick. Subsequently I ended up with Many blackberry thorns embedded in my right hand on the top and mostly centralized in the middle of my hand. I tried soaking my hands to get the thorns out and that was unsuccessful so I used tweezers to try to pick them out. I also used nail clippers. I still couldn't get them out as some had gone in very deep and I could reach the surface ones but then they would break off with part of the thorn in my hand. I have had a rash ever since and it is painful. It travels around my hand between fingers etc. Now it is moving upwards on my wrist and thumb area heading towards my arm. It has one patch that is circular and is a green colour and sticky. This area also becomes wet with somekind of oily substance and then dries up but spreads also. The whole mess gets worse under water but puss comes out and it is bleeding so I need to wash it. My doctor sent me to a skin specialist. They both thought it was exzema however my daughter gets exzema and it doesn't look anything like it to me. She ordered exzema cream and I have used it but it doesn't do anything. Help !!!! It's been over a year now suffering with this! I am a diabetic so I figured it just would take a long time to heal but I think this is way too long!!!
