Last Saturday I Went With My Son To AE He

Last Saturday I went with my son to AE he was Struggling to breathe (he is asthmatic), they told him he was having an asthma attack and they sent him steroids for 5 days ,by Thursday he was very short of breath still and we had to rush him to his local GP where he was told he Had a chest infection and he gave him Amoxiline to take for 7 days , he doesn't feel any better and now he is bleeding a bit through his nose , should we wait a couple days more until the antibiotics take effect before going back to see his dr?
