Last Few Weeks Have Been Having At Times A Jitteriness

Last few weeks have been having at times a jitteriness feeling and a heart rate of 90-100. Went to Emergency this morning after feeling a pounding heart with increased rate. I am board line to having under active thyroid and immune system is attacking thyroid gland. Told it is anxiety but I am not sure?
