Last Month My Brother Had His Blood Cross Matched With

Last month my brother had his blood cross matched with mine since i was planned for a cesarean. However his blood sample came out hiv positive. This has us very worried. What are the chances of it to be a false positive. He says he has never been in a physical relationship with any one. He is active young and seems healthy.
