Last Night I Had A Severe Reaction After Shoveling Snow.

Last night I had a severe reaction after shoveling snow. Half dollar sized welts covered my head,neck and torso when I came inside. Similarly, last week I was plowing snow without gloves and when I came in my hands swelled up to the point that I could no longer see my knuckles nor make a proper fist. Any ideas?
