Last Night I Was Out With My Friends And We

Last night I was out with my friends and we had a few too many shots. When I got home last night I started to feel really hot and my cheeks became very warm and red. As the night progressed I could feel my heart not pounding but my pulse was higher than usual as well as having cold sweats. I also could not sleep at all. These symptoms continued through the next day. Could this be a sign of having too much alcohol last night and will it go away?
