Last Night I Woke Suddenly With A Slight Cramp In

Last night I woke suddenly with a slight cramp in my leg so I tried to jump up out of bed to walk it off but instead slipped down the side of my bed causing bruising to my back and hit the back of my head on wood at side of bed. I put ice on but I can feel the bruises on my back and bottom back of head. How do I know if I need to see my family doctor?
