Last Night At 2.30 Am I Suddenly Got Panicky And

Last night at 2.30 am I suddenly got panicky and little dizzy my blood pressure readin 186/106. After half hour it was 151/94. I am on medication statin and beta blocker once night time. Previous day had gone out in hot sunny temp 40 degrees from 1.30 pm to 3 Om for some marketing.
Worried about the high reading. Do I need to go in for any tests.
