Last Spring I Was Diagnosed With Dermatographism. I Didn't Pay

Last spring I was diagnosed with dermatographism. I didn't pay much attention to the symptoms of severe itchiness, scratching the raised lines where I scratched thinking that the itchiness was from the dry air from the heater. ( I grew up in humid Florida) Thru the summer, fall and much of this winter, I did not have significant itchiness but in the past several weeks the itchiness has returned. I am wondering if there is a known link of this autoimmune response to diet or environment
