Last Week, I Experienced A Problem That I Never Had

Last week, I experienced a problem that I never had before and am very concerned about it. I am a 60 year old male in good health. I almost blacked out and it felt like my equilibrium was out of order. I felt fine up to that period of time. I experienced the dry heaves and no appetite. I was dizzy. I had the same symptoms the following day. I feel better now but not quite a 100%. What would have caused this and should I seek medical attention to check it out further? I thought it was the flu but not sure.
