Last Week I Was In The ER - When They

Last week i was in the ER - when they took my blood they ran IV line in and kept in there "in case" meds were needed. They weren't. I was released. Site of the IV was very sore for days. Today, 5 days later, I have a knot just above the site of the IV line. It's tender and sore. Should I be concerned or seek treatment?
