Last Week Suddenly I Had 3 Red Bumps Appear Above

Last week suddenly I had 3 red bumps appear above my elbow and they itched something terrible for several days. I can still feel a little bump where they were but itching stopped. Suddenly last nite 3 more of same type of bumps appeard in same area but a bit higher up towards the armpit and itching like crazy.
any answers S TO WHAT IT COULD BE
