Last Week The Sides Of My Neck Started Hurting, Like

Last week the sides of my neck started hurting, like muscle pain. Gets worse when I bend over and try to pick my head up. Saturday discovered a rash on the back of my head. My husband thought I slept wrong but symptoms haven't gotten any better, just stayed same. Ideas?
