Last Year I Had A Cortisone Injection In Each Shoulder

Last year I had a cortisone injection in each shoulder by a very reputable ortho office. By the time I got to my car 5 minutes later I was so ill I thought I would have to go to the ER. Rapid heart rate, a "chemical" feeling of sickness. I thought I was having a heart attack. I stood by my car, then sat in it for about 30 min. Until it passed and I could drive home. I need another injection but am afraid of the same reaction. Could it be the anesthetic that is mixed with the cortisone?
