Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Last year my daughter had a throat swap come back positive for enterobacter. On Thursday, she texted me from school that her throat hurt and chest when she swallowed. When I saw her, she looked bad. Her voice was strange, she was having difficulty breathing but not like her asthma. I could feel air bubbles in her neck, face and chest. The children's hospital dx with pneumothorax and subcutaneous emphysema. She has a history of RSV and vocal cord nodules as an infant and toddler. Should I see a pulmonologist again or are these things unrelated. (She is 15)
