Lately I Have Been Getting A Strange Sensation In My

Lately I have been getting a strange sensation in my eyes. On either side there appear to be kalaidascope type patterns. I get a little dizzy but I can still move without loss of balance. I remember having this sensation once about 8-10 years ago but now they have occurred 3 or 4 times in the last two weeks. It usually lasts between 5-10 minutes. I am a reasonably healthy 60 year old male who does not smoke but I do drink casually on the weekend.
