MY Wife Broke Very Small Tip Off A Ceramic Paring

MY wife broke very small tip off a ceramic paring knife; from the remaining knife and scabbard I can tell it's a triangle with 2 dull sides and 1 sharp side, a rounded tip, and the flats are ~3/16" MAXIMUM and maybe less. We cannot find the tip after long search so it either went down the disposer, is in the real dregs of the trash, or she consumed it with food she was crazing on. Questions: What is the risk with that small likelyhood of consuming it... and since it is small, thin and ceramic, is there really anything that can be done? Thank you.
