Male 53 Yrs, Vegetarian. I Do Go For 45 Mins.

Male 53 yrs, Vegetarian. I do go for 45 mins. morning walk 6 days/week. I dont soke, occassionally take a beer. As a part of my annual check up I have undergone Lipid Profile Test and following are the result:
Cholesterol : 220 mg/dl
Trglycerides : 83 mg/dl
HDL : 56 mg/dl
LDL : 147.4mg/dl
VLDL : 16.6mg/dl

FBS : 100mg/dl
PPBS : 115mg/dl
BP : 105/64 (Have been taking Tablet for BP (Enam 5 mg) for the last 6 years)

Now my doctor has prescribed Tablet (Rozavel 10mg) for Cholesterol. Do I have to take this medicine lifelong? Or else, can I stop once my LDL come down below 130?
