Meningitis Diagnosis. I've Been Sick For A Week (head Ache,

Meningitis diagnosis. I've been sick for a week (head ache, achey body, sore eyeballs, head cold - some night sweats but no fever the couple of times I have checked). A couple of close friends here are also sick with similar symptoms (plus fever). Now one friend is in hospital in New Zealand with suspected Meningitis. I'd like to make sure I don't have meningitis - I just need to know what tests I should get done. Thanks.
