Metanx vs Foltanx which is better. They are listed as having comparable strengths of the B vitamins they contain, but I have read that Metanx is metabolized form of the B vitamins and therefore more readily available for absorption, while the same amount of the vitamins in Foltanx delivers less of the metabolized vitamins once the body is done processing Foltanx. Have been on Foltanx for diabetic neuropathy (has worked well), but my insurance will no longer cover it and I am considering going to Metanx, despite the greater cost, *if* it is that much better than Foltanx (e.g., claims of actually helping restore nerve function, not just minimize or even stop the pain, in some cases). Thanks!
