Mother, 73, Stubborn, Won't See Dr. Surgery, Cancer And Ovaries

Mother, 73, stubborn, won't see Dr. Surgery, cancer and ovaries removed, chemo treatments, fallen, hip surgery, therapy and finally home, hers. Refuses to move out of her apartment. Now, incontinence daily, Weightloss and a swollen stomach. Brother has only say to have mom put in hospital, can he do this when she cannot take proper care of herself. Difficult cleaning herself, eating. I'm unable to make any decisions for her. She's in control and that's her way and the only one in control of her life. Legally I don't know what to do. She's not telling the truth to her nurse that sees mom weekly. With what I know, she's not physically able to live on her own. I'm on disability and unable to take her in. I was with mom when her nurse came over, and i asked mom for permission for her nurse to talk with me about mom's health and mom said no. I'm her only daughter, and done nothing for her not to allow me to know anything about her current health status. For the longest time she'sttreed her friends far better then me. She'staken them Iin, loaned out money, talked openly, personally. This to me is more devistating as her daughter. What can I do?
