Mother Is 89 Years Old. She Has A Blood Blister

Mother is 89 years old. She has a blood blister about the size of a quarter and raised about a quarter of an inch on the bottom of her front leg. It is also extremely red and swollen below the blister. We're trying to decide if we need to take her somewhere today or can wait until tomorrow and call her doctor. Thank you for your assistance.
