Musings Is 9 Years Old And Just Had His Appendix

Musings is 9 years old and just had his appendix out. His grandfather died and we would like to fly, 2 short domestic flights to get to his funeral. It is about 9 days since the operation. Is it safe for him to fly 9 days after surgery. It was an incision not a keyhole surgery.
