My 11 Year Old Daughter Was Diagnosed With GERD. She

My 11 year old daughter was diagnosed with GERD. She has been on prevacid and other medications for it for about 6 months. They don't seem to help. Changed to a Pediatric GI and had an endoscopy and colonoscopy and she prescribed Prevacid again which we have tried. My daughter eats a tiny bit and complains of a stomach ache. She has lost 6 pounds in the last 2 months she is down to 52lbs the dr said she totally fell off the growth chart. She is almost 12 weighing in at 52lbs. They said they may use a feeding tube to help her gain weight. Would the feeding tube be a good option just to get some weight on her? She is so tiny.
