My 12 Year Old Has Been Running A Fever Nearly

My 12 year old has been running a fever nearly once a week for the past few months. He also wakes up with headaches and complains of abdominal pain. And frequently breaks out in hives. He has a doctor's appointment on Tuesday. But was wondering what could be going on with him.
