My 12 Year Old Son Fell Off His Rip Stick

My 12 year old son fell off his rip stick this afternoon and hit his head on the pavement. He didn't tell me until later. He has a knot on the left side of head and he said his vision went black and red for a couple of seconds. He is not fatigued or vomiting, vision fine. Should I be concerned about a concussion?
