My 12 Year Old Son Got Kicked In The Ear

My 12 year old son got kicked in the ear in a pool. It has been sore for 24 hours and he says it is painful when he goes underwater and it fills with liquid and says it feels as if someone is pinching his inside of his ear. He says it feel full of pressure on his ear. Any clue if this is something that we need to head to a clinic or can wait to see his regular pediatrician tomorrow
