My 14 Year Old Daughter Is Between Periods Right Now

My 14 year old daughter is between periods right now and recovering from a bad cold. She isn't spotting or bleeding through the day but has a cough and is spotting mostly at night the past 2 days. Tonight it was like 2 tbs maybe. Is there anything I should be concerned about?
