My 14 Year Old Has Been Complaining That He Feels

My 14 year old has been complaining that he feels a blood flow in his forehead vein and pressure around and across his forehead. What does this mean and should I take him to the doctor? There is no pain associated with his symptoms. This does not happen every day, but periodically. In the past two days, he has felt it twice.
