My 16 Month Old Swallowed Some Chew Spit. I Don't

My 16 month old swallowed some chew spit. I don't think she swallowed a lot. She seemed fine after but did get the hiccups and started making a gagging sound. I gave her some milk and she stopped that. Then about a half hour later she started crying and then fell asleep. Should I be concerned or let her sleep it off?
