My 16 Year Old Daughter Had A Colonoscopy 3, Days

My 16 year old daughter had a colonoscopy 3, days ago due to excess bleeding during bowel movements. She has healthy appetite and uses the bathroom daily. The surgeon said she found no polyps but did find 3 ,spots with ragged edges along the outer edges of these spots. Biopsy was taken still one week til pathology report, any ideas what can be should I prepare for the worse seeing how colon cancer is prominent in the family. Thanks.
