My 16 Year Old Daughter Has Been Diagnosed With ADHD

My 16 year old daughter has been diagnosed with ADHD and prescribed Vyvanse. She says when she takes it before school that it does help her to focus and concentrate better in class but the downside is that it makes her feel non-sociable to others. She describes her feeling as being boring. A teacher suggested that she speak to a doctor about prescribing an antidepressant to counter this feeling. Does this make any sense? Is there another solution?
