My 16 Year Old Son Became Ill Yesterday. He Had

My 16 year old son became ill yesterday. He had body aches (especially joints and along his spine), fever, nausea, and headache. Early this morning around 4:00am he was awakened from his sleep with a strange sensation " that rocks were piling up all over his body" and that "his bones were projecting from his hands". He tells me he can remember this same sensation happening to him at least 4-5 Times in the past. These symptoms have only occurred when he has been very ill with fever, etc. He says it lasts about 10-15 minutes and not actually painful but extremely uncomfortable and frightening.
