My 16yr Old Daughter Has Gum Stuck In The Back

My 16yr old daughter has gum stuck in the back of her throat. How can we get it out. She has tried eating & drinking various things. She noticed it this morning & she thinks it has been there for days. It's a 1/2 of a piece of stick gum so it isn't very large.
