My 17 Year Old Daughter Has Been Home With Flu

My 17 year old daughter has been home with flu symptoms, diarrhea for two days. She is now experiencing painful pressure in the front middle torso area directly below rib cage. She is giving the pressure pain a 6 or 7 out of 10. She tried to lay down to go to bed but felt short of breath. What doyou suggest?
