My 17-year-old Daughter Has Suffered From Severe Pain In Her

My 17-year-old daughter has suffered from severe pain in her joints (hips, knees, ankles, wrists, shoulders, and elbows) since she was 8-years-old. However, there is never any visible swelling, and pain medicine offers no relief. Specialists have ruled out heart problems, orthopedic problems with full body scans, ehlers danlos, and cancer. So through the process of elimination, they diagnosed her with Juvenile Arthritis at the age of twelve. My question is what else could it be because arthritis is the swelling of the joints and can usually be relieved with pain medication.
