My 17 Year Old Daughter Has What Appears To Be

My 17 year old daughter has what appears to be strep throat. She was put on an antibiotic 5 days ago for multiple eye styes and the doctor said if she does have strep the antibiotic-clindamycin 300 mg 3X day- should take care of both. Her eyes have cleared but her throat looks even worse-now on both sides and very painful. Should the antibiotics have worked by now? She is also vomitting, no fever, but a lot of fatigue.
