My 17 Year Old Has Suffered A Serious Accident Recently

My 17 year old has suffered a serious accident recently - 7 facial fractures - and his eye is still dilated. This accident happened almost 2 weeks ago. How long should his eye stay dilated? No damage to the vision but he had 2 fractures in the nose and 5 around the orbital area. He says his vision is ok. We have seen an ENT doctor and an eye specialist and he has checked out ok. He had the nose reconstructed yesterday by the ENT doctor and I just didn't ask about the dilation being concerned with the nose surgery.
