My 17 Yo Daughter Was Diagnosed With Ear Infection Tues

My 17 yo daughter was diagnosed with ear infection Tues night, she started with oral dose of 500 mg amoxicillin at urgent care then took 2 pills, as prescribed yesterday afternoon. She wound up with 2 bad bloody noses and bleeding from the infected ear. They have now prescribed amox-clav which I see is still in the 'cilin family; is it safe for her to take?? thank you
