My 18 Month Old Son Has Had A Recurring Fever

My 18 month old son has had a recurring fever for 3 days. He had minor diarrhea yesterday. This morning I woke up to him crying and burning up so I put him in a lukewarm water and gave him ibuprofen and then a half hour later some tylenol. I have continued the doses and the fever is not up at this time but he experienced a nose bleed is that normal? I should also mention that he had a febrile seizure this year in May.
