My 18 Year Old Daughter Had 4 Wisdom Teeth Removed

My 18 year old daughter had 4 wisdom teeth removed a few weeks ago. Since then her iron level has dropped. She is also a distance runner, and is taking iron pills. I think it's unusual that these symptoms occurred at about the same time. Do you think the wisdom teeth could be the cause? And if so, can we build her iron back up as quick as it left? Our doctor said to increase her iron pills and add vitamin C with her iron pills. She is starting college soon and is running for the team and I want to build that iron up very quickly.
