My 18 Year Old Son Is Having Pains On His

My 18 year old son is having pains on his left side just above where his ribs end. He does not have a fever and there is no redness or skin irritation. He weighs 180 and is 5'11" He is good health but these pains seem to hurt enough for him to suck his breath They are sharp and last anywhere from 10 - 30 seconds. He has one about every 2-3 minutes. Should we take him to the hospital or wait for a Dr appointment on Friday
