My 2 Year Old Grandson Was Found In A Pool.

My 2 year old grandson was found in a pool. Pupils were fixed and dialated. CPR administered, 2 rounds of epi at hosp. Life flighted to a childrens hosp. Its been 19 days. He responds to pain and opens his eyes about half way. He has started storming in that his pulse goes up to 170 and bp goes up. They give him ativan. My question is how do we ask his dr about hyperbaric treatment or Ambien? They have not been receptive to any of our questions or ideas?
