My 20 Year Old Daughter Is Away At College. She

My 20 year old daughter is away at college. She came home to see her ob-gynecology doctor and had an implant for birth control. When she went back, she went to remove her nuvaring she could not remove it and she thinks that there may also may be a lump , in, on, around the ring. The earliest appointment that she could make is Thursday. But, it would be considered emergency services, and they would try to get her in. But, if they do not get to her before their regularly scheduled appointments, she would have to come back and try to get an emergency appointment the next morning. The next scheduled appointment is in three weeks. How big of an issue is This? Should we get her to an ER? Please help me!
