My 21/2 Year Old Son Has A Electrical Burn (iron

My 21/2 year old son has a electrical burn (iron box) in his thighs. I am cleanign it with betadine solution and applying silverex cream on it.now the upper black color skin has teared and it is fully reddish now. How many days it would take to heal ? can i continue the same or i have to apply any other thing.
