My 22yo Son Went To Urgent Care Yesterday They Diagnosed

My 22yo son went to urgent care yesterday they diagnosed him with a severe throat infection (not strep). He has taken 2doses of amoxicillin and he has only gotten worse. He has a fever and chills and can’t swallow. He has done warm water and salt gargles throughout the day. Is there any thing else I can do for him?
